气体雾化法已发展成生产航天高技术用高质量快速凝固粉末的一种手段。本文讨论了制造这些粉末的生产和研制技术,介绍了气体雾化粉末快速凝固显微组织的特征,并和普通的凝固材料做了比较,表明工具钢的特点是碳化物很细,分布均匀,且无宏观偏析。高温合金显示出快速凝固的枝晶二次臂距小。本文还阐述了气体雾化法在铁合金中的独特应用,特别强调含有强化质点的细晶粒弥散相合金,还介绍了用气体雾化法生产的高级金属间材料,如Ti_3Al。
Gas atomization has evolved into a means of producing high-quality, rapidly solidified powders for aerospace high-tech applications. In this paper, the production and development of these powders are discussed. The characteristics of rapidly solidified microstructures of gas atomized powders are introduced and compared with those of ordinary solidified materials. The results show that the tool steels are characterized by fine and uniform carbides, And no macro-segregation. Superalloy shows rapid dendrite secondary arm spacing is small. This paper also describes the unique application of gas atomization in ferroalloys, with particular emphasis on fine-grained, dispersed phase alloys with enhanced particle size, as well as advanced intermetallic materials such as Ti_3Al produced by gas atomization.
