Objective To explore the application of humane care nursing in patients with hip replacement. Methods Sixty patients undergoing total hip arthroplasty in our hospital from May 2013 to May 2014 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 30 cases in each group. The routine care was given to the control group. The humanistic care was administered in the observation group. The anxiety score, depression score, treatment compliance and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results On the 7th day after operation, the scores of anxiety and depression in the two groups were (34.10 ± 3.23) points and (33.11 ± 3.12) points respectively, and there was no significant difference between the two groups (P> 0.05) (48.77 ± 4.21) points and (49.32 ± 5.24) points respectively in the control group. After 12 days, the compliance of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the nursing satisfaction was higher than that of the control group Significance (P <0.05). Conclusions Humane care nursing for patients with hip replacement can effectively improve the treatment compliance and nursing satisfaction and improve the patients’ anxiety and depression.
