Bartok was one of the most important figures in the music industry in the first half of the 20th century. He was born in Nathan Miklos in Hungary in 1881 and died in New York in 1945. Bartok’s talent surpassed that of Hungary’s greatest composer in history, but his general tendency to create was still deeply rooted in the soil of nationalism.
