Mckay Machine公司安装使用轧辊感应淬火设备之前,已具有炉中加热淬火法生产优质AISI 52100钢轧辊的多年历史,轧辊磨削后的表面硬度约为HRC 62。然而,生产中棘手问题是:磨削工段的磨削量较大。其原因是轧辊淬火的变形较大,大约需要留0.2英寸(5mm)的余量才能磨加工到最终的精确尺寸。
Before Mckay Machine installed roll induction hardening equipment, it had a history of many years of producing austenitic AISI 52100 steel rolls by furnace quenching, with a surface hardness of about HRC 62 after roll grinding. However, the thorny problem in production is that the amount of grinding in the grinding section is large. The reason for this is the large deformation of the roll quench, which requires about a 0.2 inch (5 mm) allowance for grinding to the final precision dimensions.
