江苏省是中国重要的纺织品服装出口基地。据海关统计,2000年江苏省纺织品服装(不含丝绸)出口71.46亿美元,占全省出口总额的27.73%,占全国纺织品服装出口总额的13.74%,位居全国第二;贸易顺差48.05亿美元,占全省进出口贸易顺差总额的81.44%,在全省各行业保持净创汇第一的地位。71.46亿美元的出口额占2000年全省纺织工业销售收入的1/3以上,省内大中型纺织服装企业,其产品60%以上直接或间接出口,国际依存度很高。2001年以来,江苏省纺织品服装出口增幅一路下滑,据海关统计,1-10月出口同比增长9.85%,增幅同比回落29.44个百分点,“9.11”事件不可避免地直接或间接影响着江苏省纺织服装业,记者就此采访了一些城市及企业。
Jiangsu Province is an important textile and apparel export base in China. According to customs statistics, in 2000, Jiangsu’s textile and apparel (excluding silk) export was 7.146 billion U.S. dollars, accounting for 27.73% of the province’s total exports, accounting for 13.74% of the country’s total textile and apparel exports, ranking second in the country; the trade surplus was 4.805 billion U.S. dollars. It accounted for 81.44% of the total surplus of the province’s import and export trade, and it maintained the status of net foreign exchange earned in all industries in the province. The US$7.146 billion in exports accounted for more than one-third of the province’s textile industry’s sales revenue in 2000. In the province’s large and medium-sized textile and garment enterprises, more than 60% of its products are exported directly or indirectly, and the international dependence is high. Since 2001, the growth rate of Jiangsu’s textile and apparel exports has been declining all the way. According to customs statistics, exports from January to October increased by 9.85% year-on-year, a year-on-year decrease of 29.44%.
