BACKGROUND The function and morphological changes of the inner ear of kanamycin after the first ototoxicity have been studied more and more. However, there are few reports on the changes of the auditory function after ototoxicity. Objective To investigate the damage and recovery of auditory function of chicken kanamycin after ototoxicity. Design completely random design. Location and Materials The experiment was completed in Xinhua Hospital, Shanghai Second Medical University. The animals used are roman chickens. Intervention intramuscular injection of kanamycin (200mg / kg) once a day for the first 16 days after the first ototoxicity, a total of 10d. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Auditorybrain-stemresponse (ABR) was performed on the 1st, 10th, 10th, and 15th day after the second drug regimen. The thresholds and thresholds of I wave were observed. Results first ear poisoning, hearing loss of chickens reached the limit when the drug is completed. After withdrawal, the recovery started rapidly. After 7 days of treatment, the threshold of ABR of chicken decreased significantly. At the end of 10 days, the threshold of ABR recovered. At the end of the 10 d re-application, the threshold of ABR of chickens again increased significantly, but the degree of ABR was lighter than that of the first injury (107.14 vs 116.32) Has been restored to stability, compared with 1d after the drug again, the difference was significant (P <0.01), then the chicken ABR threshold no significant change. Conclusion When ototoxicity is induced by ototoxicity, the frequency of hearing loss of chicken kanamycin is lighter than that of the first injury, and the speed of recovery is faster than that of the first injury. The results suggest that after initial ototoxicity of kanamycin, its substrate nipple has a certain degree of resistance to the re-injury of kanamycin.
