我县是著名的莲藕之乡，荷藕种植面积较大，1998年被国家有关部委命名为全国唯一的“中国荷藕之乡”。但本地荷藕主栽品种“大紫红”和“美人红”在长期的种植中存在着种性退化，产量和品质均有所下降。为此，从1994年起我们从中科院武汉植物研究所引进了“武植2号”荷藕?.. My county is a famous hometown of lotus root, lotus root cultivation area larger, in 1998 by the relevant state ministries named the only “hometown of lotus root”. However, the local lotus root cultivars “big purple red” and “beauty red” in the long-term planting there is a kind of degeneration, yield and quality declined. To this end, since 1994, we introduced the “Wu-Wu-2” lotus root from the Wuhan Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
