如同整个鲁尔区一样,杜伊斯堡市在过去的几十年里也经历着一场经济结构的变迁.杜伊斯堡内港因港口企业的搬迁和关闭,变成了工业废弃地.由于1989年至1999年的国际建筑博览会的契机,使得杜伊斯堡内港区的复兴和港区与城市的融合成为鲁尔区城市结构转型和城市可持续发展最好的例证之一.本文简述了杜伊斯堡内港区的复兴过程.
