7月20日晚8点30分,看着上海世博会八号门里奔涌而出的人流,彼时的自己,有些疑惑,这人群为何汹涌而来又收获了什么而去。想起有设计团队对1992年西班牙塞维利亚世博会的描述:当年的情形是,观众人山人海,却像浮萍一样迷惑,因为不知道该去哪个馆,每个馆看起来都差不多。正是那届世博会,让设计师们开始考虑如何通过一个建筑来展示一个国家。
At 8:30 in the evening on July 20th, watching the flow of people from the gate of Shanghai World Expo No. 8, there were some doubts about this time. Why did the crowd come and harvest something? Recalling the design team’s description of the Expo 1992 in Seville, Spain: When the audience was crowded with people, they were as confused as duckweed because they did not know which hall to go to and each hall looked similar. It was the World Expo that allowed designers to think about how to show a country through a building.
