Kipling was Britain’s first person to win the Nobel Prize for Literature, but because “the father of post-colonialism” Edward Said has placed him in the context of post-colonialism to conduct research and writers’ own poems, The emergence of language such as “the burden of white people” and “the east is the east, the west is the west and the two never meet each other” made Kipling’s reputation decline in the literary world and has been excluded from the mainstream literature only Can serve as a representative of children’s literature writer. It is often easy to overlook the literary and aesthetic taste of Kipling’s works by placing Kipling’s works in post-colonial discourse. Kimi is regarded as the most important novel of Kipling. This article mainly interprets this work from the aspect of Indian culture.
