Chinese ancient poetry is a gem of splendid culture in China and is full of infinite charm. How to spread this wonderful culture to the West and better understand and accept it for readers is the constant pursuit of the vast number of translators. This article takes the translation of several ancient poems as an example, analyzes the characteristics and difficulties of ancient poetry translation, and clarifies the assimilation, intensification, and beautification techniques of English translation of ancient poetry in order to realize the “Three Beautys”—meaning the beauty of ancient poetry translations. Sound beauty and shape beauty.
