Language and culture are inseparable, interacting and restricting each other. Any translation activities are cross-cultural activities. Vocabulary gaps caused by cultural differences are an important reason for the translatability limit. The official titles in the Qing Dynasty were the visual and external manifestations of the feudal political culture with Chinese characteristics, and no direct expression was found in English. Requires the translator to be integrated, according to different situations to take a different translation strategy. In this paper, Ancestral Leaves, a famous American historian named Professor Zhou Xirui, is the main research object. This paper summarizes the main official English translation methods of the Qing Dynasty, that is, literal translation, free translation and transliteration (annotation) Official translation of the English translation of the proposed reference.
