爱知县位于日本的中部,自古以来便是日本东西交通的枢纽,其首府是名古屋市。日本战国时代的三位大将军织田信长、丰臣秀吉、德川家康都出生于爱知县,因此在历史定位上,名古屋有着不同于东京大阪的武家(buke)特色。喜好华丽风格的丰臣秀吉建造了名古屋城,奠定了名古屋最具有代表性的历史名城地位。爱知县在交通不便的古代利用河流运输盐,米,谷物等,河流扮演着重要的运输管道角色,人工河流渠道亦成为爱知县的特色之一。
Aichi Prefecture is located in the central part of Japan and has been the hub of Japan’s traffic since ancient times. Its capital is Nagoya. The three major generals in Japan’s Warring States Period, including Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and Tokugawa Ieyasu, were born in Aichi Prefecture, so Nagoya has a distinctive buke in historical positioning from Osaka in Tokyo. Toyama Hideyoshi prefers gorgeous style built Nagoya Castle, Nagoya laid the most representative of the historical city status. In ancient times, Aichi Prefecture used rivers to transport salt, rice and grains in traffic inconveniences. Rivers play an important role as transportation pipelines, and artificial river channels have also become one of the characteristics of Aichi Prefecture.
