又称公众关系。指一个企业或组织机构,为了增进内部及社会公众的信任与支持,为自身事业发展创造最佳的社会关系环境而采取的一系列科学的政策和行动。公共关系是一种特殊的管理功能。这种功能包括:一、在一个组织及其公众之间建立并保持双向的传播、谅解、接受与合作;二、参与处理各种难题;三、帮助管理部门及时了解舆论并作出反应;四、明确和强调管理部门为公众利益服务的责任;五、帮助管理部门随时掌握并有效地利用变化的形势,帮助预测发展趋势。以作为早期警报系统;六、运用研究方法和健全的、正当的传播技能作为其重要工具。
Also known as public relations.
