The Nest Library is a visual installation inspired by forests and poultry, housed in Cleveland, providing a quiet hide-away public area for busy city streets. The work is seen as a symbol of growth, community and knowledge. Mark REIGELMAN chose a simple standard plank that was reinforced with 200 steel cables and covered 10,000 boards. Of these 10,000 wood planks, 4,000 were left untouched. The other 6,000 were painted with a layer of gold paint. The interior of the entire work presented a golden color, while the exterior was a mix of the two.
