Music education at higher normal colleges and universities plays a major role in cultivating national music teachers. In recent years, with the increase of music candidates, the reform of the education system and the expansion of the scale of running schools, higher education teachers have successively set up music performance majors in addition to the original music education major, and even some comprehensive universities have also started music education and Music performance professional. However, there is still a big gap between students and teachers of these performing majors and teachers and those of professional colleges, among which there are still problems of running school conditions and teaching experience. This has led to a large part of these performing majors joining the competition for teachers. Whether the expansion of educational scale will improve the quality of education, practice shows that the two are not directly proportional.
