今年7月5～8日,黄河志编纂委员会在郑州召开了第一次(扩大)会议。除编委外,参加会议的还有黄委所属各单位,青海、甘肃、宁夏、内蒙、山西、陕西、河南、山东省(区)水利厅(局)和长办、海委的代表,共计70多人。会议一致认为,编纂黄河志具有重大的历史意义与现实意义。通过商研,初步拟定全志分14篇67章,约计200万字左右。除了介绍黄河流域的自然和社会经济情况,黄河在我国的重要地位,流域内的名山大川、文化古迹外,还将对黄河水资源利用、流域综合规划、农田水利、水电工程、水土保持等作系统地全面叙述。同时,对历代治河机构,古今治河人物,重要治河文献,咏赞黄河的著名诗词,治河法令,治黄大事记等等,也要加以选辑和记述,使其成为人们认识黄河、了解黄河的一部百科全书。
