The neo-liberal policy pursued by the United States for a long time has laid a great potential danger for the outbreak of the new crisis and the emergence of problems. The larger risk products and illegal operations launched by financial institutions have created an unreasonable financial order and brought financial risks. Residents’ borrowing and spending patterns make the household’s liabilities exceed disposable income, and the false consumer boom will eventually burst, leading to the economic downturn. The financialization of the economy reduced or even reduced the capital growth in the field of production. Eventually, various situations led to the intensification of the fundamental contradictions of capitalism, which eventually detonated the financial crisis and a series of economic problems. This article attempts to explore the causes of the economic problems in the United States in recent years by using secondary knowledge.
