我认为,人物造型严谨且带有写实性质的中国画是年轻人的事,上了年岁的人的画应该更自我、更自由、更直率一些。时下,有不少中老年人物画家,画着费力却依然“坚持”。画的人苦恼,看的人疲劳。当然,知道苦恼,已是幸事,处于麻木无知且乐此不疲状态下的却不在少数。自己画的怡情养性,别人看着兴趣盎然。说来容易,做起来非大智慧、大才情甚至大彻大悟不可,也实在很是无奈。画瓷是传统,中国画从来就是瓷画的典范,清康熙五彩便是追求水墨的韵味。素白的瓷胎就是宣纸,水墨便是钴料。画瓷除名家外,更有民间画工绘制。韩羽先生也画瓷了,玩儿的成分更多些,依然是人物画小品,有“味道”。画中人物举手投足间有一种亲近人的真趣,不为内容所累,
