营养调查表明:钙营养不足是当今全球性健康问题。由于中国居民的膳食结构及饮食习惯等因素的影响,我国居民的缺钙状况令人担忧。我国城乡居民每日钙摄入量仅为391毫克,与中国营养学会提出的膳食参考摄入量(成人800毫克/日,老人1000毫克/日)的标准相比,一半都不到。因此说,补钙对促进中国居民的健康有重要意义。补钙因人而异,补钙的最好方式是调整饮食,增加奶及奶制品。孕妇、婴幼儿是需要补钙的人群。老年人除补钙外,还必须使用一些促进钙的吸收和钙质沉积的药物。
