In the recent 10 years, the major airlines have gradually lowered their standards for rainy days. At present, basically they all adopt the landing criteria of “heavy rain does not fall during the daytime and no rainy day falls at nighttime”. As observers’ judgment of precipitation intensity concludes that control The only legal basis for pilots and pilots is that for the observer, the airlines’ strict requirements on the intensity of precipitation have caused the pressure to be completely passed on to the observer. Based on Civil Aviation Meteorological Ground Observation Code and the case of Nanjing Airport June 8, 2016, the paper discusses the key points and difficulties in the observation and protection during heavy precipitation weather.
