Since the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1965, Singapore has enjoyed rapid economic growth and has gradually become a newly developed country. It has been hailed as one of the “four little dragons in Asia.” In 2014, Singapore has a land area of 718.3 square kilometers and a permanent resident population of 5.47 million. Singapore's advanced transportation system is a model for learning in major cities in the world. In comparison with our cities, car ownership in Singapore reached a high level of 101 vehicles per 1,000 people, but its road network remained unblocked most of the time.
