20世纪50年代末,有一部名为《六十年的变迁》的小说风靡全国。小说的主人公季交恕是位热血青年,为寻求救国救民的道路,从本土寻到东洋,从清末寻到民国,历尽磨难,最终汇入到人民解放事业的洪流中。当时北京各大报刊纷纷转载该书,一时间,“路人竞说季交恕,城乡争购六如书”。这里所提的“六如”就是小说的作者,原最高人民检察署副检察长、党组书记李六如。李六如是新中国检察工作主要奠基人之一,为开创社会主义司法、检察工作和法制建设,培养司法、检察干部做出了重要贡献。
