多发性骨髓瘤(简称MM),是浆细胞恶性增生所引起的肿瘤性疾病。解放以来迄1980年12月底止国内已有439例报道,男:女=2.2∶1,最大年龄79岁,最小11岁,大多数都在40岁以上。国内自1975年后由于开展了免疫球蛋白(简称Ig)的测定,对MM有了确切的分型,以及近几年来电子显微镜的检查,使这项研究已深入到细胞超微结构的水平。此外在该病的瘤细胞中,可见到各种非特异性的染色体异常。
Multiple myeloma (referred to as MM), is a neoplastic disease caused by malignant proliferation of plasma cells.
