为了解决“五四”时期国人的“意义”危机 ,帮助当时的青年从烦闷的人生问题中解脱出来 ,梁漱溟提出了“尚情”的理想人格。“尚情”即崇尚真情、情理 ,讲究真情实感 ,坚持“主观的情感”而不是“客观的道理”。就是说“尚情”包括一任直觉以求“对”,履行仁道以求“安”,回头认取自身活动以求“乐”。在“尚情”说中 ,既可以看到泰州学派王艮父子的影响 ,又不难发现柏格森生命哲学的成份 ,充分体现了儒家心性学说与柏格森生命哲学相结合的特点。尽管“尚情”说在总体上存在着严重的缺陷 ,但无论是在理论上 ,还是在实践中 ,它都具有深远的意义

It fully reflects the combination of Confucianism and Bergson’s life philosophy. Although there are serious flaws in the “sympathy” theory as a whole, it has far-reaching significance both in theory and in practice
