Matvey and other published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology, the study showed that severe smokers in the incidence of kidney cancer is not only high, but also more serious disease, and quit smoking kidney cancer progress has slowed down. The study showed that more than one out of every four smokers undergoing kidney cancer surgery had advanced kidney cancer, while only one out of every five smokers was late. According to the American Cancer Society, about one out of every 70 Americans has kidney cancer, most of whom are elderly. For those former smokers who have quit smoking, the likelihood of progressing to advanced cancer does decline. This shows that quitting smoking can help delay the progress of kidney cancer.
