Speckles appear in many optical phenomena related to light propagation[1] and have wide applications in various scientific and technical fields.[2] The statistical description of the speckle structures in different optical systems is a basic and an important issue in speckle studies.Among the statistical parameters and functions,the autocorrelation function of the speckle intensities plays specific roles in describing speckle structures.[3] For the conventional far-field Gaussian speckles,the autocorrelation function of the speckle intensities is related to the Fourier transform of modulus square of the scattering aperture function.More than a decade ago,the fractal structures of speckles were observed in optical systems with an illumination of negative-power law function.[4,5] Recently,studies of fractal speckles have received great interest[6-8] and have found wide applications such as velocity sensing,[9] tissue identification,[10] and surface roughness assessment.
