The Singapore government invested S $ 350 million in 2007 to transform the city into a global clean energy hub focused on the development of solar energy. In order to achieve this goal, the Singapore government and the Bureau of Economic Development’s Clean Energy Research and Experiment Program (CERT) have put in place a number of measures. To this end, we have a Solar Technology Center with five different photovoltaic panels that have a total power of 14.2 kW. The center is used to show different grid-connected PV systems and serve as a test center for studying the energy and characteristics of long-term operation of different PV modules in tropical climates.
