In the [P2Mo5O23] 6-heteropolyanion, five MoO6 octahedra are connected by common and common corners to form an approximate pentagonal planar skeleton, and two PO4 tetrahedra are added on both sides of the pentagonal plane. Thermal properties of heteropoly anion skeleton showed decomposition at about 547.4 ℃.
