为适应不同学习需求、综合运用现代移动技术为远程英语教育提供新的教学环境和学习方法,远程英语移动学习课题组使用移动设备就“CAI英语1”、“CAI英语2”两门试点课程的教学资源进行教学实验,对远程英语移动学习的特点、远程英语移动学习的成本可行性、远程英语移动学习的教学过程及效果、远程英语学习活动环境与移动技术支持角色的有效性进行调查分析和实证研究,从中得出对远程英语信息化移动资源建设的启示,为移动学习资源网(Mobisite Connecting across the TVU)的设计奠定基础,提高远程英语移动学习的实效性和英语信息化移动资源的设计质量,开辟一条培养英语专业人才的新路子,并有效拓宽远程英语教育的新途径,更是顺应学习需要的现实趋势,为实现中国远程英语探索真正的超越做好充分准备。
