2005年10月23日,为深入贯彻党的十六大和十六届三中、四中、五中全会精神,推进党的先进性建设的理论创新和实践创新,经中央批准,中央先进性教育活动领导小组23日下发通知,决定在全党开展“保持共产党员先进性教育活动与党的先进性建设”理论研讨。2006年5月9、10日全国保持共产党员先进性教育活动与党的先进性建设理论研讨会在北京举行。针对通知和会议的精神要求,本文就两者的关系做些初步的探索。
