化学通报 1954年第4期,刊载着胡正中同志的“我怎样讲解初中新课本第七章第一节‘盐酸’一文。胡正中同志叙述了他在讲解“盐酸”这一节的教材安排,教学方法的运用等等问题。肯定的说,这样的讲解是能达到课本的基本要求的。但其中有几个问题还值得大家讨论。(一)在185页左栏第22行中写着:“……继续再问为什么把物质分成类呢?让学生思维,这是因为每一类中的物质具有共同的性质,如果分类以后,只研究每一类中的重要的几个代表,就能了解全部各式各样物质,这样就使我们研究化学的人,免得把自然界存在的许许多多的物质研究一遍。所以分类研究既科学又省了许多的时间。……”。用科学的分类法,是因为每一类中的物质都具有共同的性质。的确,分类研究可以只要研究每一类中的几个重要代表,就能了解各式各样全部物质,既科学又省许多时间。但这不等于完全彻底理解各式各样全部物质。应该指
