Students with learning difficulties in English (hereinafter referred to as “study-poor students”) refer to students whose intelligence is within the normal range but who have difficulties in learning and who are unable to meet the basic requirements specified in the English “New Curriculum Standard” and have a certain gap with the actual teaching requirements. Compared with most of the students of the same age, these students have obvious difficulties in learning and need special education measures to provide remedies. We can’t call them bad students. The saying that students are poor is the product of exam-oriented education. Students who learn poorly emphasize learning difficulties. Learning from bad ones does not mean that they have poor intelligence.
