刘香成第一次明确的身份意识与红领巾有关。那是1957年的福州,6岁的刘香成是鼓楼一中小学的一年级学生。小学生胸前佩带的红领巾,是这个1949年建立的新国家表现自己“先进性”的诸多努力之一,也像很多事物一样,它来自于苏联的影响。列宁与他的布尔什维克在沙皇俄国的基础上建立起苏维埃政权后,东正教传统中小孩子的“主日课”时的红领巾,摇身变成了共产主义思想的少先队的标志。自1917年以来,苏联的道路为饱受羞辱的古老中国,提供了意外的选择。
