当前高职公共英语教材建设严重滞后于高职教育发展,与学生所学专业及未来工作关联性不大,无法体现工学结合、过程导向和职业导向的思想,教材的内容与实用性不符合高职教学的需求,同时也存在与专业英语教材脱节的现象,如何以教材为载体,在教学目标、内容、手段上与职业教育改革与发展趋势相一致,文章提出了基于学科门类的应用型高职公共英语教材建设的具体做法,为高职公共英语课程定位与教学改革指明了发展的方向。
