The German philosopher Theodore Adorno put forward in his 1955 corpus “Prism”: After Auschwitz wrote poetry is brutal. Auschwitz is located near the ancient capital Krakow in Poland. Krakow, one of the oldest cities in Central Europe, hosts numerous codes of civilization and is also known as one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. However, because of Auschwitz, all civilizations are collectively silent. With Nazi Germany setting up a concentration camp and massacring millions of Jews, Auschwitz became the representative and symbol of Nazi atrocities and the world’s most representative field of understanding of Nazi crimes.
