Before and after the Revolution of 1911, the British imperialists had used the so-called “independence” movement in Tibet as a threat and forcing the Chinese government to attend the Shimla meeting in an attempt to split Tibet from China. This conspiracy against the emperor and emperor, history research after the founding of the state had fully exposed. However, for various reasons, we have not sufficiently studied the entire process of Sino-British negotiations on Tibet at that time, especially the attitude of the Chinese government. The purpose of this article is to use the new materials in recent years to make a clear and concise exposition of the Sino-British Tibet negotiations with a view to making the research on this issue one step further.
