Based on the survey data of “Research on the Quality and Policy of University Graduates’ Employment” in 2014, this paper uses the orderly Probit regression to examine the impact of work characteristics on the health of college graduates. The study found that employment has a negative impact on the health of university graduates in China. The higher the income, the worse the health status of women. Therefore, high-income women workers should pay special attention to improving their own health level ; Working hours and work safety risks have a significant negative impact on health while work control, organizational justice and work meaning have a significant positive effect on health; the higher the level of support, the greater the promotion opportunities, the better the health status, Especially for female college graduate workers. According to the empirical results of the working characteristics on the health effects, this article puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions for the employer to improve the staff’s health level.
