The domestic rights introduction is generally tending to be rational and mature， in which the international classical brand books are still the main objects to be introduced. To introduce some classical brand authority books with internationally accepted high academic and practical value plays an active role for domestic learners to study advanced scientific ideas and practical technology and to promote the development of science and technology in China. New trends are showed in the following aspects. First， emerging discipline and emerging technology attract more attention. For example， the selection of books about genetic technology and nano technology indicates the promotion of scientific publishers’ professional level and their clear and profound understanding in international publishing industry and market. Second， the rights introduction coordinates with the national key industry. Take scientific books as an example， books introduced cover many national key industries such as military， airline， energy， environment-protection， life science， which has certain significance for the development of related industry.

Another highlight is that the books published not only introduce the Chinese scientific achievements but also touch upon the world academy subjects. Fourth， the targeted geographic coverage for rights export is expanding. Compared with the past， now， books exported to， except for Taiwan and Hong Kong， Europe and America are increasing.
　　In the process of rights trade， People’s Medical Publishing House makes its American subcompanies to give fully play to its platform role. It contacts the rights and international authoritative authors and adopts flexible ways to use its published books of English version to expand book sales in Chinese market. Second， consistently expand the width and depth of cooperation Conduct in-depth cooperation by developing from the simplex rights introduction of western medicine books to rights introduction of both Chinese and western medicine books， giving consideration of both the introduction and export， and paying equal stress on multiple languages publishing. Third， enhance the cooperation with authoritative international organizations and institutions， and undertake the responsibility and obligation of People’s Medical Publishing House as the “collaborating centre of WHO health information and publishing”. Fourth， develop simultaneously the export of paper books and digital products. Fifth， clarify the rights and actively safeguard legal rights. Some relative departments such as the international department， law department and so on of People’s Medical Publishing House closely cooperate with each other to clear the rights of introduction and output， assuring fully proper usage of rights， and actively safeguard the legal rights with the aid of the right protection department. 　　The success of rights in recent years mainly benefits from the experiences accumulated by the active exploration of many years. People’s Medical Publishing House and its brother publishing houses have conducted a large number of trials and explorations of “going global”， actively and profoundly developed the international cooperation and set up the publishing company overseas， by which it accumulated lots of publishing experience. The extensive international exchange has created an opportunity for People’s Medical Publishing House to “going global”. In March of this year， People’s Medical Press and Weike Group signed an agreement on co-publishing， introducing classic nursing books of Weike groups. In June of this year， It signed an agreement on co-publishing with Elsevier Group， collaborating to complete the editing， publishing and extension service of the English version of Strategic Research Report of Healthy China 2020. In this year， we have planned to introduce various books from American subsidiaries， covering disciplines about internal medicine， surgery， department of pediatrics， department of stomatology， image， evidence-based medicine， etc. and planned to publish them before the end of this year. At present， we are negotiating with the international well-known publishing enterprises for the co-publishing of the English versions of various books about Chinese-western medicine.
