本专刊从法律上分析了《个人独资企业法》和《个人独资企业登记管理办法》的有关条款，展望了我国个人办企业的发展前景；以重点篇幅详细叙述了个人创业办企业、做老板方方面面的思路、方法和诀窍，以及我国目前重点行业的状况，如何选择适合自己的发展道路。有典型地详细记述了国内外近４０位大小老板和创业者的成功历程，分析了他们成功的原因。对于准备进入商海或初入商海者，还提出了几十条非常有价值的忠告，防止跌入商业陷阱。后面部分还附录了从大量最新的经济信息中选择的上百条技术含量适中、有市场前途、投入较低的实用信息，供个人创业经商、办企业时参考。
