消费主义是二战后产生于发达国家的一种生活方式。在全球化的影响下,日益向发展中国家蔓延,并在80年代以后,扩散到中国。消费主义认为人可以无节制地占有、消费物质,把消费看作是人生最高的目的。在无节制地消费物质的同时,其实也是在消耗人的生命。道教是以长生久视为核心信仰的宗教。在消费主义语境下,道教为追求长生所表现出来的对生命的热爱和尊敬,有着积极的意义。
Consumerism is a way of life that developed in developed countries after World War II. Under the influence of globalization, it increasingly spread to developing countries and spread to China after the 1980s. Consumerism holds that man can possess and consume material without restraint, viewing consumption as the highest purpose of life. In the uncontrolled consumption of material at the same time, in fact, is also the consumption of human life. Taoism is a religion based on long life as its core belief. In the context of consumerism, Taoism has a positive meaning for life’s love and respect for the pursuit of longevity.
