人类发展往往伴随着这样一个问题:文明和野蛮一起生长;经济增长和道德进步难于同步;财富的拥有,常常同时带来良知的丧失……这几乎成为古今中外任何民族、任何社会发展史,尤其是社会转型时期不可回避的难题。 今天,当改革开放使中国社会处于又一次重大的变迁过程时,上述难题亦在人们猝不及防中突现出来。人们为此而争论不休,困惑不解。鱼与熊掌是否不可兼得?社会各界都在试图探寻一条经济发展快,社会代价小的新思路。 本期学者访谈的主题是:经济增长与伦理道德的关系。为了使读者全面地了解理论界对这一问题的各种观点,我们分别走访了中国人民大学副校长、教授罗国杰先生;中国人民大学经济系主任、教授魏杰先生;北京大学社会学系副教授、现代化问题研究专家孙立平先生。在此将他们从不同的学科角度阐述的观点转呈于读者,以期引起人们更深入的思考和讨论。
Human development is often accompanied by the problem that civilization and brutality grow together; economic growth and moral progress are difficult to synchronize; and the possession of wealth often leads to the loss of conscience at the same time. This has almost become the history of any nation, It is an unavoidable problem during the social transition. Today, when the reform and opening up brought Chinese society under yet another major process of change, the above difficulties have also come to the fore when people are caught off guard. People argue endlessly and confusedly. Is there any difference between fish and paw? All sectors of society are trying to find a new way of thinking about economic development and social cost. The topic of this scholar interview is: the relationship between economic growth and ethics. In order to fully understand the various opinions of theorists on this issue, we have respectively visited Mr. Luo Guojie, Vice President and Professor of Renmin University of China; Mr. Wei Jie, Professor and Professor of Economics Department of Renmin University of China; and Associate Professor of Sociology, Peking University, Mr. Sun Liping, an expert on modernization issues. Here, the views they articulate from different disciplines are forwarded to the readers with a view to arousing more people’s thinking and discussion.
