考察新中国60年铁路建设的发展历程,可以发现我国的铁路建设走过了一条独特的发展道路,面对资源稀缺、要素禀赋有限的情况,在区域布局方面,围绕枢纽城市,连通不同的经济区域,呈现出内源性以城市为中心的发展态势;在空间演进方面,东部、中部、西部渐次贯通,与国家的发展战略比较吻合,圈层结构和经济发展带的形成及差异等特征明显,这种演进形态与区域经济增长在同步性方面并不完全一致,错综交织,在不同时期不同区域取得了不一样的发展绩效。与世界铁路产业的发展路径相比,我国的铁路建设在制度设计、政策实施等方面还有一定距离,借鉴国外的先进经验,我国的铁路建设在促进经济增长方面的先行作用需要得到强化,在建设布局和空间有效性上有待更趋合理。
