Objective: To study the effect of electromagnetic pulse (EMP) on the myocardial intercalated gap junction protein 43 (Cx43). Methods: Sprague-Dawley rats were used as experimental subjects. EMPs were used to irradiate rats. The left ventricle, right ventricle, septum and atrium were taken at different time points. The morphology of intercalated disc was observed by electron microscope.
