The structure of the rubber fabric seal, the performance of the rubber fabric material and the conditions of use of the seal determine the working ability of the seal. Figure 1 shows the standard structure of a rubber fabric seal used in the Soviet Union (FOCT 22704-77). This type of seal is guaranteed to work at pressures up to 63 MPa by changing the number of cups per group (from 3 to 10).
