这一组技术图片,是爱德华兹 在1997年世界田径锦标赛中进行第六次试跳时所拍摄的。他获得了银牌,成绩是17.69米。虽然爱德华兹的这次试跳并不是他的最佳成绩,但在这组图片中却显现出了爱德华兹典型的技术特征,正是这一技术特征,使他与其他三级跳远运动员与众不同。 三级跳远技术的关键,就是如何获得最大的水平速度,以及尽量保持水平速度并达到最大的远度。获得最大的水平速度是通过助跑来实现的,而保持水平速度取决于三级跳远各跳的着地技术。爱德华兹典型的技术特征,就是获得了最大的水平速度以及在后来的三跳中尽量保持了水平速度。
This set of technical pictures was taken by Edwards at the sixth Test Jump at the 1997 World Athletics Championships. He won the silver medal, the result is 17.69 meters. Although Edwards’s test-jumping was not his best, the typical technical features of Edwards are evident in this set of pictures. It is this technical feature that enables him to compete with other triple-jump athletes and the public different. The key to triple jump technology is how to get the maximum horizontal speed, and try to keep the horizontal speed and reach the maximum distance. Getting the maximum horizontal speed is achieved by running, while keeping the horizontal speed depends on the landing technique for each hop of triple jump. The typical technical feature of Edwards is the maximum horizontal speed achieved and the horizontal speed maintained for the next three hops.
