日前,国土资源部公布首批国家重点化石产地,张家界市桑植县芙蓉龙化石产地被列入该名单。全国共有40个县(市)获得这一命名,湖南仅有株洲、桑植两地入选。芙蓉龙化石产于桑植县芙蓉桥白族乡芙蓉桥村三叠世地层中,距今240-230百万年。自2000年国土资源部批准芙蓉龙化石产地为张家界国家地质公园四大核心景区之一以来,桑植县积极申请国家地质遗迹保护项目资金,对芙蓉龙化石产地实施了两期
Recently, the Ministry of Land and Resources announced the first batch of national key fossil producing areas. The fossil origin of Furonglong fossils in Sangzhi County of Zhangjiajie City was included in the list. A total of 40 counties (cities) nationwide got the naming.
