“Cai Long Hu” is a traditional repertoire of Dong folk plays. It tells of a twin brother and sister who became married to each other without knowing each other. Although the motif of my brotherhood is not a product of the childhood of mankind, it has not completely become a fossil of history with the passage of time, but survives in the original state or deformation, and is deposited in modern times And many of today’s many ethnic marriage-related folk customs. For the Dongs, siblings who marry their siblings are disappearing in reality although they are only seen in the mythology. However, the kinship marriages existing between their aunts and their wives remain undoubtedly eighty years of last century. As a cultural performance through the drama, “Cai Longhu” twists and turns and reappears the far-reaching reality experienced by human marriages.
