巍巍梅岭,幽幽古道,地处韶关南雄与江西大余交界之处的梅关,不仅风光明丽,而且历史悠久。梅关扼守中原大地与岭南粤海的通关咽喉,自古便是关隘重镇。数千年来,行商脚贩,军旅平民,文人骚客,在此通关往来,造就了梅关浓郁的历史风味,同时也留下了不少传奇佳话。梅关南岭的六祖庙便是其中一例。现在的六祖庙,是一座小庙。白墙黑瓦,一座三间,立在古道旁侧。清晨游客未至,庙里的和尚打扫清洁,一个人,一条狗,清静极了。古道往 Wei Meiling, the faint trail, is located in Shaoguan Nanxiong and Jiangxi Yu Department of the junction of Meiguan, not only beautiful, but also has a long history.
