咀嚼压力又称(牙合)力,为咀嚼时咀嚼肌所发出的力,它是咀嚼功能大小的一种标志。最大(牙合)力为牙周膜所能承受的最大咀嚼压力。因此测定牙的最大(牙合)力可以了解牙周组织的健康情况。第一磨牙位于牙弓前后的中间,接近咀嚼肌的合力线,牙根分叉多,牙周膜的总面积较宽,所以,它是咀嚼的主牙。测定其(牙合)力,可以代表咀嚼功能。北医、上二医在华北、华东已作(牙合)力测定的研究。本文以第一磨牙为目标,在西北地区进行了(牙合)力测定,报道如下:
